Scott Griffiths is a Phoenix-area native. He attended Apollo High School and Glendale Community College before graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from Arizona State University in 1998. Scott started his professional career teaching Social Studies and computer technology in at at-risk high school in Central Phoenix. The experience of working with disadvantaged and impoverished students led Scott toward the administration side of the school where he could advocate for the students and parents. He completed the Master’s of Educational Leadership program at Northern Arizona University in 2005.
His zeal for improving at-risk education steered him to open a charter school management company with fellow school administrators. Although that venture was short lived, Scott was left feeling that there was more that he could learn and do to help people.
Scott Griffiths is a “second career” attorney, graduating from Phoenix School of Law in 2010. While attending law school, Scott worked full-time at NETtime Solutions, LLC., a Scottsdale-based technology company. While at NETtime, he advised Human Resources and C-Level executives on wage and hour policies to ensure compliance with FLSA and applicable state mandates.
Scott passed the Arizona State Bar in February 2011. He is admitted in Arizona State Courts and the U.S. District Court of Arizona. Since admission to the bar, he has handled a variety of legal matters including divorces, child support modifications, landlord/tenant disputes, commercial foreclosures, and defamation defense. Scott is passionate about entrepreneurship and small business success. He frequently advises small business owners on legal issues pertaining to contracts, leases, and property rights.
